Les Picardies Estate is a family owned, traditional French Manoir in southern France sat within 70 acres of rewilded countryside. It offers accommodation within the main house and a four bedroom gite.
Brief
To create a quietly aspirational brand identity that would evoke consistent feelings of unpolished luxury across digital and print marketing. Intrigue, surprise and delight are emotions we wanted to stir ahead of experiencing them in their fullest at Les Picardies. To build direct booking, lead engines via social media and a new website.

Approach
Through a process of discovery we deeply understand what makes Les Picardies such a special place to visit for their guests and then work to create a logo and style guide that screams subtle sophistication. This logo was then carried across onto a range of different assets like the website, a welcome guide, menu and social. The website needed to make booking super easy for guests and provide our client with a range of data that would help them run their business better.
Oatlee researched the best holiday accommodation management platforms and built the website on Cloudbeds architecture allowing our client to manage their website and channels like AirBnB in one environment. The social media strategy is to help people who want hidden value from their holiday discover Les Picardies. In addition to this we incentivised guests to engage with Les Picardies social to increase repeat visits.

Results
Direct bookings through the website are up 40% with social media now directing traffic to the website and contributing to this (as well as getting booking directly through direct messaging). The average night stay in 2023 is up from 2.3 nights to 2.9 nights. Food and drink spend has increased 8-fold.
